Book Reviews & Writing News
Please note: I am not currently open to book review requests with the possible exception of authors or publishers I already know. I’m sorry this may come as a disappointment, and I really want to support the indie writing community as much as I can but at the moment taking requests is beyond my capacity as a reader. However, I can say with my whole chest that if you have used generative AI in any capacity in the production or promotion of your “book”, your request would certainly be denied. Especially if you use AI to write the request (seriously wtf is wrong with you?)
Indie August 2026
Indie August always comes up second fiddle to its more illustrious springtime cousin but it really shouldn’t. This year, as the month draws to a close, we have the second of the twice-yearly Narratess Indie Book Sales, in which, as always, I will be taking part. Indie August Sales Extravaganza!
There’s plenty to sink your teeth into this Indie August, with sales and bundles galore. Indie August often plays second-fiddle to its earlier cousin, Indie April, but it shouldn’t! It’s just as impactful for indie authors as the spring event, and this year, it’s determined to prove it. As usual, my books are involved in some of the big sales this month so I thought it would be helpful to list...
The #IndieAugust 2024 Mega Sales
Celebrate independent speculative fiction authors by buying their books in not one, but two, huge sales for an extended period of time. From Friday 23 to Tuesday 27 August you can get awesome discounts on nearly 400 SFF books.
#IndieAugust Mega Sale!
Once again, I’ll be partnering with Narratess for another mega sale, this time for #IndieAugust, celebrating independent speculative fiction authors. August 6th and 7th, the ebook of From the Grave of the Gods will be discounted for the sale hosted by Tessa Hastjarjanto of Narratess.com. As in April, I'll be running a Kindle Countdown Deal for the US and UK marketplaces at 99p/99¢, and dropping the price in all other marketplaces as much as I can.
