ARC Readers Wanted

That’s right, for the first time I’m putting out a call for ARC readers for The Shadow of Arcadia, the second full-length novel in the Augment Saga!

With three books already under my belt, you’d think I’d have gotten this publishing stuff figured out by now. But the one thing I’ve always missed out on during the run-up to release is sending out ARCs. And the main reason for that is timing. I’m never sure how long I’m supposed to leave these things. This time, though, I figure it can’t hurt to collect some names even though I don’t have a solid release date yet. The plan is now to release around mid-year, however.

What is an ARC?

Advance Reader Copies are books which are either ready for publication or undergoing final checks. By signing up to receive an ARC, you'll get a free digital copy of the book for you to read ahead of its release date in exchange for leaving an honest review once the book goes live. It helps to drive initial interest for the book and helps me with marketing it around the launch period.

How do I get my ARC?

If you’re interested in being an ARC reader, then please fill out this Google Form with your details. You'll be contacted by email when I have an ARC ready for The Shadow of Arcadia and you'll receive a Story Origin link to download your copy. You will need to verify your email address in order to download—so it'll need to be the same email address you give me in the form, because it will be part of my ARC mailing list. The manuscript is currently being copy edited so the dates are a little up in the air right now, but I’m anticipating sending them out by June.

About the Book

SIDERA SILERE: LET THE STARS REMAIN SILENT.

Nestled in the shadow of a derelict alien warship, the Martian city of Arcadia Landing shines as a beacon of humanity’s golden future. There, United Nations representatives gather to sign a new international treaty; a stepping-stone towards global unity. But when a dangerous faction born of an unlikely blend of isolationists and alien-worshippers attacks the city, the hope of unity lies scattered among the ruins.

Heartbroken, Captain James Fowler must work together with Nate Rifkin, the rueful captain of the Magellan, to bring those responsible to justice. But a deadly encounter with the cabal’s enigmatic masked leader draws James into a deeper mystery stretching back nearly fifty years.

With the help of Capt. Erin Pritchard, and anachronistic force of nature, Capt. April Rose-Hartley, they investigate the links to James and Angela’s past to uncover the identity of this murderous figurehead, track him down, and put a stop to his grand plans for humanity.
